Well said, he was completely unstoppable tonight. But I think this is the best thing for Central, losing, but playing them very close. Thats shows that we CAN beat them, but if we would have won tonight, we probably wouldn't win in regionals if we get to play them, it would be pretty tough to beat SC twice.

He told me yesterday that it was a maybe, he had to go back to the doctor soon. I would like to see him play, but it's probably not worth the risk for him, I heard UK was already talking to him about playing football.

I don't think he is big enough to play in the post in college. Even Central is trying to get him to play more of a SG/SF position.

Good assumption, but it's because Elliott county is pretty good for the 16th region, not a strong region, and everyone in eastern KY thinks they're the best thing since sliced bread.

I think we would all agree that you would have a very biased poll, no way they are 14th in the state.

That's why I said every school in KY except UK and UL. I just mentioned the Gillispie part because I thought it was interesting. I think he would do well at EKU also. He could probably get some good playing time his sophomore year and after.

I'm not sure who he passed, I would think Marquis Estill would have been up there. I have heard that he's been offered by every school in KY except UL and UK. I know Tenn Tech wants him and IUPUI was at the game on Tue. I'd say most of the OVC schools have been in contact with him. I know that Gillispie has spoken to him briefly, probably just as a potential walk-on maybe, but he has no interest in UK, and I think he would want to go somewhere he could play.

It must not be anyone on his Rivals.com list, he only has UAB, Marshal, Evansville, Xavier, Akron, and Bradley. Would you care to elaborate?

In Richmond Tuesday night, during a win over Shelby County, Aaron Morris became the all time leading scorer for Madison Central. He scored his 1,872th point. He had points after that to extend his lead but I'm not sure how many, my guess would be about 10 or so. Seeing this number was hard for me to tell how many points that really is, until I figured it up to be an average of about 18 ppg from freshman year until now. Pretty impressive, congrats to Aaron!:thumb:

My vote goes to Hopson. Everyone dogs him for being lazy, but a lot of people seem to think Miller can get pretty lazy himself.....

That's why I'm saying he will probably be a lot better next year when he is playing with people at his skill level. Right now he usually only plays hard when his team needs it, and they have won most of their games this season. Isn't that making your team better? Helping them win basketball games? Who cares if he doesn't try throughout the ENTIRE game, his team wins don't they?

Hopson is the best player in KY, I really don't see how anyone can argue that. I really think he will shut everyone up for good next year when he has some real competition to play against in college, I believe that will make him play harder. And for everyone saying Hopson doesn't play "D", have you ever seen him play? His defense is almost identical to his offense, he can score when he wants or be lazy, and on D he can pretty get a steal, a block, or just help create a turnover whenever he wants. He definitely "can" play D or O with about any high schoolers in the country, he doesn't necessarily always do it but he definitely can.

Is there anyone who would STILL like to tell me that Miller is better than Hopson?

Elliott County should not be this high, I don't even know if they should be on the list. Madison Central is my team, but I just don't know if they should be #15, maybe closer to #25........

Mason by 1 or 2, I think it will come down to the very end with Miller hitting a winning shot. I would say BS would get revenge if it wasn't at Mason and on their senior night.

Biggest high school gym? But it's also not fair to let Mason have it in their own house. Too bad their aren't any neutral sites large enough to host the region.

We were talking about who had beat them from the teams mentioned earlier. But BTW Scott County lost to Rice as well.

You're listing Dunbar and not LexCath? What if 2 teams came out of each region? There would be twice as many "bad" teams, but twice as many "good" teams also. Or maybe just give the 6th, 7th, and the 11th 2 teams.......:lol:
