  1. Timmy Knipp hardly played any JV ball. He was the sixth man for this team last year in the 8th grade. He has had to mature very quickly compared to others his age. He's handle his own pretty well in the couple of games I've seen this year.

Timmy started every game for the JV last season....And didn't really become the sixth man until near end of season.. Thats what I'm saying, he would benefit from another year of JV ball

  2. This kid will be on the same level. He's still trying to find his way on this team. He played off the bench last year, but i know that he'll get there this year, I have no doubt. I only listened to this game, but I heard plenty of positives from him. He's not perfect, but he is very talented. So I know he will find his way, he's a freshman that found his way into the starting line-up on the defending champs line-up. Timmy Knipp will be alright.

I agree completely. He'll be fine, if he reaches half his potential, he will be twice the ball player most of us only hoped to be. Yes, he's only a Freshman, IMO (again, not picking on him) he could have used another year of JV to improve his ball handling, post-up, and rebounding skills. But again, he's only a Frosh. Seems to me his confidence isn't were it was at last season. I could see the more touches he would get on the JV level solving this.

  3. I know, and that's my point.

So as long as you beat a bunch of really good teams, it doesn't matter if you lose to one or two really terrible teams.

So, your saying that OSU, who's best win versus a ranked opponent was #20 Purdue, beat a bunch of really good teams.......LOL. Nice try!

  4. Here is the ESPN College Gameday Top 5 it will just be a secret for now to avoid criticism

    1. THE OHIO State University (because we can't be convinced until the jury gets a 3rd look)

    2. Notre Dame (Hey we all know every high school kid dreams of going there)

    3. SMU (June Jones and his system can take on anyone just ask Georgia)

    4. Minnesota ( hey they hired tubby smith in basketball so they must win at everything)

    5. Washington University (Tyrone Willingham is going to cure cancer)

Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your as optimistic as a Big Ten, OSU fan.

  5. Before you get your panties in a wad go back and look at what I said. THIS YEAR! No way is UK's football program in the same breathe as OSU when it comes to football just like OSU isn't in the same breathe as KY basketball. This year KY football CAN make the argument they are better and OSU CAN make the argument that they are better in basketball.

KY has played right with LSU, Florida, Tenn, Georgia so why do you think OSU is so much better than those schools? Can you say without a doubt that OSU is better? I can't! THIS YEAR!!!

Same breath?? Well I don't know. If UK plays OSU's schedule this season.. what would their record be?????

  6. I am not a OSU fan and you are not proving anything to me, so I am pretty sure they feel the same way.

No, I don't have to prove anything to you. It was proved on the field last night.... Thanks come back next year!!!!

  7. Really, you have USC who lost to Stanford at home and Georgia that didn't win their conference because of the #1 team in the nation was on their divisional side.

You have the Big 12, Big East and ACC champions.

This year, it is very hard to say who was deserving. While LSU won it all, there could be a good argument, they didn't deserve to be there with 2 losses.

I would take the SEC champion if they had 4 loses, and put them up against anybody, any time.
