They start 6'4", 6'6", 6'7". Pretty big for a high school front line. Rose Hill has to control tempo and the boards to have any chance. Elliott has proven themselves to be the regions best so if Rose Hill wins it would have to be considered a huge upset.

One name that keeps getting mentioned that I don't understand is Hicks. I don't think he ever got Greenup out of the district. I think Ram makes some good points about the difference between longevity and current accomplishmnets. Based on this year alone I would go: Webb Bush Perry Mayes Cooksey Menifee's coach. Sorry forgot his name and I'm too lazy to go back through the thread and look it up. Webb, Bush, and Perry are getting good to great results from teams that most people didn't have in the upper part of the region. Mayes, like it or not, is smart enough to let his horses run. Cooksey has overcome the loss of Hall and has Fairview in the thick of things. Overall body of work I would go: Cooksey Hampton Perry Funny nobody has mentioned Biggs. I thought he was supposed to be the savior of Ashland basketball.

The 16th region is blessed with a number of good coaches some old some new. One name that hasn't been mentioned is Thacker at Rowan. He is both old and new.

Duck that poll makes no sense. Ashland lost last week at home to Rose Hill and you rank them 3 spots higher. How many games does East have to lose for you to drop them?

Sorry but if you are getting paid to evaluate players and don't rank Terry in the top 15 in his class then your qualifications have to come into question. I have not seen Gregg much and he was in foul trouble against Ashland but his numbers speak for themselves. I can understand his omittion because I wasn't that familiar with him until about a month ago. Terry on the other hand is a different story. He has been on the scene for some time and you can watch him warm up and see special talent. Deming's list is laughable.

I suppose you are referring to the class A matchups. Elliott obviously will win by a large margin. The loser of the Rose Hill/Bath game won't drop much in any poll I wouldn't think. I believe as of today Don's poll is pretty much spot on.
