I couldn't agree with you more. I go watch high school games when I can and occasionally catch a Bucs game, but nothing beats the atmosphere of the college game. Since the Bucs and USF share Raymond James, I've been able to compare them, and there is definitely a difference. From the tailgate parties to the crowd intensity during the game, the college game is much more exciting.I've heard some discussions on this, but I wanted to know which Football day is your favorite and why. You can use any kind of reasoning you would like, just let us know why you feel the way you do.I'll go ahead and start by saying Saturday. I just love college football, and while I played high school ball and I watch the NFL every Sunday, nothing beats a great college football game.

Based on how many times I watch them over and over...
1. "Major League"
2. "The American President"
3. "We Were Soldiers"
4. "The Hunt for Red October"
5. "Excalibur"
Also receiving votes (in no particular order): "In Harm's Way", "Midway", "Tora!, Tora!, Tora!", "The Natural", "Silverado", "The Ususal Suspects", "Remember the Titans", "Star Trek II, the Rath of Khan", "Field of Dreams"

The last post in that thread is September 7th. A lot has happened since then.In some opinions he goes from this..http://www.bluegrasspreps.com/showthread.php?t=128543&highlight=Carr to the bolded.Don't look now, but the Wolverines are ranked 12th in the BCS. If they beat Ohio State in the "Big House" and win the Big 10 title, essentially ruining Buckeye heaven, all will be forgiven. If Carr can engineer that, he deserves COY. However, I would rather see his bashers have a large helping of crow instead.

Prognosticators are squirming. The "so called" experts are squirming. Some overly self important sports writers, and columnists, and broadcasters are squirming. Many fans are squirming. However, the BCS is not.

I was still peeling from the UCF game and loaded down with sun screen. However, I forgot my sunglasses and my eyes took a beating. Hope for the same weather in 2 weeks.I wish I had the problem of getting sunburnt at football games, in NOVEMBER. -

The pass Grothe made in the first half into the end zone, where he threw back into double coverage, which he did all day, he didn't need to throw that pass. He had a clear route to the west front corner of the end zone with a lead blocker. I have no idea where his head was all day.The entire game was bazaar... -

That was the worst and best game I've ever witnessed.
Mauk's first pass resulted in an interception and a USF TD. Then Mauk's second pass bounced off a Bull defender, who sould have caught it, and resulted in a completion for a UC TD. Then on the UC kick off, Mike Jenkins went 98 yard for a TD for USF. Then the next UC drive ended in a field goal. I looked up and with 10:10 to go in the first quarter it was 14-10.
The Bulls offensive unit hit the field for the first time, and everything went south. 3 interceptions, 3 fumbles, and a blocked punt later it was 38-20 Bearcats.
The second half UC tried to give the game back, but the Bulls were not having any of that. However, UC made a terrible decision to fake a field goal on 4th down leaving the Bulls with great field position with 25 seconds to go and for the 3rd game in a row, the final play decided the outcome.
Win lose or draw, these Bulls are definitely entertaining. Frustrating, too. I love this stuff. :thumb: I hate it, too.

Define "in a fashion beneficial to society". It may surprise you what is deemed beneficial and was is not by others.I am going to ask a general question that I am not claiming to know the answer to. How many parents in todays society are responsible? How many parents deal with these type of matters in a fashion beneficial to society? -
I have a big problem with the schools passing out birth control. We're back to parental responsibility again. However, based on our discussion about the tanning bed law, I thought that you would be in favor of this. :confused:http://www.usatoday.com/news/health/2007-11-01-birth-control-poll_N.htmWASHINGTON (AP) — People decisively favor letting their public schools provide birth control to students, but they also voice misgivings that divide them along generational, income and racial lines, a poll showed.
Sixty-seven percent support giving contraceptives to students, according to an Associated Press-Ipsos poll.

98NCCalum's version of the "No Spin Zone"? How come you picked 1963 for the cut-off? Why not use the default of 1953? So you could post
Indiana: No Records Found ?
:lol::lol: That's funny.
Notice that during all of those years of Bobby Knight "abuse", IU had no NCAA violations. That would explain why they are having a hard time dealing with this situation.
For anybody who cares, here is the link where 98 got his info.

Search using University of Oklahoma. That's more relevant to the current issue.

Great sound bite, but it's her definition of a community that scares me.Like it or not, Hillary wasn't all wrong. It takes a community (village) to make it the best we can be. -
Regardless of the results of the appeal, good luck collecting. :irked:

However, once we get her social security number, we'll get her prepaid college fund set up, though. No need to burden the new parents with that expense. :thumb:
