Maybe times have changed but assistant coaches and scorekeepers all travel together and don't need cards to get into the games. I didn't know they didn't pay assistants to coach now days. :confused:

Limit on the number a school can get. Two would be plenty for each team sport.

How much do they cost now and anyway that goes to the KHSAA. That is what I'm saying, the AD can order as many as he wants for a small fee. It's just not right. Schools have to meet expenses and what would they do if everybody had one. I went to a Fleming Co football game once and the lady selling tickets told me when showed her my coaches pass' does everyone in the state of Ky have one of these". I reached in my wallet and gave 5 bucks because I was embarrassed. She apologized but that didn't matter, I paid anyway and haven't used it since.

The problem with coaches cards are that about anyone in the school system can get one.:ylsuper:

mcraycraft, I agree the refs were terrible going both ways. I don't understand why they need 3 refs when they don't call anything anyway.We have one of those refs at least 10 times at Clark and if there was any way to blackball him from calling, then if I was coach Humphries , I'd do it. They sure can create an ugly game. Also , I too was shocked in the number that showed up from Montgomery Co. Last year they had great numbers. Clark really showed up in great numbers. Would be nice to see all these people at the season games although Clark's crowds were good this and last season.:taz:

I remember when I was coaching ,the local radio station(WFTM) was voted on at the district and regional meetings and granted passes. :ylsuper:

It just blows my mind that these Supt making over 100,000 demanding 5 dollar pass and little John who played b-team ball but is not on the varsity has to pay five dollars out of his pocket. Shame on these guys.:ylsuper:

You would not believe the people who wants those passes. It's unreal.:taz:

I have a lifetime coaches card that I can get in ball games with but I never use it. I know that school needs my 5 dollars to pay expenses. Players, managers, score keepers should come first in getting those passes. I know when I was coaching , our Supt wanted 6 passes to the tournaments,one for himself and one for each board member whe never attended one of our games all year. That Supt was making 70,000 dollars a year and ask for a 5 dollar pass. I told him if I had an extra I'd give him one but none for the board members. Our Principal got a pass and took it to the Supt to keep him happy. To heck with these people. I agree 100% with the above, take care of those kids and if there's any left over then give it to people who it makes feel important to have a pass:ylsuper:.

Refs let the game get out of hand. IMO the refs were bad. It's a wonder if someone didn't get hurt. Thought Zollo played a good game ,he was a warrior on the boards. Hatton shot well from outside and hit his free throws. Thought Rogers made a difference tonight. I thought Rash did a good job on Stenzel . Stenzel did a good job seeing the floor and getting the ball down court with the long pass to Hatton and Daniels. I think Stenzel only took six shots tonight. Someone said he was sick and vomited at half time. Williams played hard and made some good plays. It seemed the ball went into the wrong hands a lot against the press and created a lot of turnovers. Rash played a great offensive game. Montgomery Co has a good chance to advance in the regionals if they get the right draw. They have some good three point shooters and Rash penetrates well. Good luck Cards in the regionals. Take one game at a time.

Palming the ball has become a joke. To put your hand completely under the ball and then carry the ball until it's on top with about 4-5 steps involved. That is the most missed call in basketball.

Clark at one time was in the 16th and Fleming was in the 10th. I know Montgomery is closer than Clark to the 16th but that's the way is was at one time.

Rash sure took over in last night's game against Bourbon Co. That was a great effort.

Paris had a different team than the one that played in Clark Co during the season. They only had 8 boys dressed in the season game and played 3 frosh. The team they had last night were a lot of boys who didn't play in the Clark Co season game. Where did they come from?

I also heard they were moving Mason Co to the 9th region. Heard that at the local filling station and also at the barber shop.:taz:

I agree. Clark Co did the same thing against Bourbon last year in the first round. :ylsuper:
