Obviously it didn't here. Even though it is really none of our business, the NATO alliance we have will surely make sure we become involved in some capacity. If we aren't in alliances, we are allowed to look at the situation and judge for ourselves what is the best course of action to take.

I don't think we as a country should entangle ourselves in alliances. Either way you look at it, an alliance makes predisposes you to take a position in a conflict before that conflict even starts.

Why does there have to be an answer; it is not our problem.

If World War III starts, I feel that when history looks back our time period; we will be seen as the aggressors and the catalyst for the war. There was a legitimate reason to invade Afghanistan. I could even possibly concede for argument sake that we had barely enough reason to justify an Iraqi invasion. But a preemptive strike on Iran, and North Korea(who seems to be cooperating) would be disastrous. Even intervention in the Russia/Georgia conflict would be disastrous. It is time for America to stop policing the world. We need to settle our business in the middle east, and then leave as quickly as possibly. We need to fortify our borders from outside attack, and then begin to fix America's internal problems.

Force should be our last response...we cannot afford to fight another battle on another front.

Why do we have no choice? Why is it our business? If we go with your logic or protecting the little guy;then we need to invade a large part of Africa.

Then we need to tell our people to get out of the capitol;simple as that. We don't have the time nor the resources to fight another war. One could also make the argument that us invading Afghanistan and Iraq was an attempt to spread our Empire.

I believe this is one fight we need to stay out of as long as possible.

If anyone has never read Enoch or Maccabees I suggest they do, Maccabees is a really cool historic narrative as Hatz said; and Enoch just has some really cool stuff in it.
