Your opinion would be wrong here. Capitalism does not support government regulation of the economy or industries. While there are not as many regulations as in a communist economy, Socialism does regulate to some degree. So therefor a Democratic Socialist Government cannot be a hidden capitalist economy, because there definitions contradict each other.

America does not give aid purely out of morality and altruism....America gives aid in the hopes to win over allies and friends to the cause of Democracy and Americanization of the world. Not a bad plan though.

How so? It was the general consensus that Kerry won 2 if not all three of the debates in 2004. I believe 2000 was a split if not wins for Gore. Though you are correct, past debates have played major roles in past elections. But I believe with constant media bombardment, debates play less of a role each year.
