  1. Thrilled for the kid. Cheered when he scored. Love his mindset. Need more of his type in the league.

Still can't play in the NFL unless you can guarantee his defense will keep him in every game until the last drive.

Big boost for the Bengals as well.

    Go TEBOW.

Very big and if the Bengals can win this week, they may be in good shape. I am not a big Tebow fan but the keeps winning.

  2. I agree with raiderbird on this one. An objective look shows a declining program with players choosing to leave the team...

19 Juniors in '10 -> 13 Seniors in '11. 23 Sophs in '10 -> 18 Juniors in '11. That is at least 11 Juniors/Sophs that decided not to come back to the Raiders for their Senior/Junior year.

This is a fairly dramatic drop. How do you explain this...

This kind of looks like the Duffy era at Highlands. Very talented coach but had trouble keeping coaches and trouble getting kids to come out for the program.

  3. There's a difference between broadcasting it between him and his friends from Cov Cath and NDA and it being posted on BGP where literally everyone, from every school, from every age can see it. I'm not friends with him, so I wouldn't have seen it had it not been posted here. I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that there's no way you would have seen it either had it not been posted here.

Are you saying Guru is friends with him? Remind me not to friend Guru.

  4. I think those arguing for fewer teams in the playoffs really are just being selfish. They don't want to watch a lopsided football game. There isn't any other legit reason why you wouldn't argue in favor of the current "everyone has a chance" setup. I can't think of anywhere else on any level of sport that people argue fewer teams in the playoffs. In all the other sports, the argument is how do we get more teams into the playoffs.

Most of those arguments come from a selfish point of view. Anything above high school and becomes about money. You ask they pros, major college players if they want to play one more game. I don't think it is fair to let most teams in and not others. Why does a district that has 4 teams automatically get in but a district with 5 or 6, some stays home (except Simon Kenton and I doubt they were happy to play one more game.) Let everyone in and shorten the season by a game or make people qualify to get in. No other sports in KY have 6 classes either.

  5. I bet Trinity doesn't have a close game the rest of the year, maybe 6A should get rid of the playoffs, actually come to think of it Trinity hasn't had a close game in 6A all year, perhaps 6A should just quit playing the games period.....:notworthy:

It seems to me, most teams have quit playing Trinity except for the ones that have to. I would say a lot of teams would agree with you.

  6. Didn't need to hold that one for 7 years. Facts are facts. You are quick to run your mouth about coaches but the facts are, your coach knowingly played a player that was not eligible and it took a court injunction to get by Bell County. That is proven facts.

And later to be found eligible and all wins given back. Facts are facts and coach Matney is not very well respected across the state.

  7. As far as demeanor, you can't go wrong with golden retrievers or labs. My neighbor has rotty that is as nice as can be. I would love an english bulldog but they are very pricey. I have had many dogs in my life and currently own 3. I had a husky for 16 years and I loved him, but he was very energetic and would run any chance he could get. Of all the dogs I have had, my favorite is one of the one's I have now, an Australian Blue Heeler. Best trained and loyal dog I have ever had. I take him camping with me all the time.
