No denying Joey Moser was a huge contributor in the Colonel’s victory. IMO, the most underrated guy on the team (perhaps the entire region) and that may have a lot to do with him being injured and missing a lot of games. Plays with a lot of fire! And confidence! Great stroke! Last I looked he was second or third on the team in shooting percentage and most of his points aren’t coming from underneath. Go Joe!

Rowe was an assistant under Willie Schlarman and Mike Code, two very good coaches. Willie brought winning to Brossart in the late 90s and changed the culture. Rowe saw it first-hand.

I believe the records show that CovCath was not as good as many may think. Basketball 2008/09: 8-19 2009/10: 18-13 2010/11: 18-12 2011/12: 17-14 (yr-one for Ruthsatz) 2012/13: 27-7 Football

Parents have a choice to pay for a private school education. That is their prerogative. CCH and other schools in the Diocese have kids coming from all over NKY/Cincy for various reasons. CCH - STEM curriculum, Art program, averaging a 26 on ACT year after year, athletic success and simply being prepared for college. I Think it is interesting that nearly 10 -13 years ago CCH football and basketball were not relavant. Look at their records....

Seems rather hypocritical to me when schools gripe about out of district kids as it happens with all. NewCath: Colson, Connor, Jefferson, Moeves brothers. Cooper: Spencer, Houston, Deere Brothers, as well as others who were in the Connor, Boone, or Ryle districts. Highlands: Smith, Lorenzen, Maile, Terry, Kramer, Mitchell, Blasingame... Ken Shields built a great program with out of district kids. Out of district kids are going to CCH for...

Moeller refused to schedule CovCath claiming it was unfair that they could have players from Ohio on their team, but Moeller was not allowed to have out of state players. I believe it’s an OHSAA rule. Maybe they were also afraid that they could lose potential players to CovCath if they should lose, which sure as hell wasn't going to happen this season.
