I hope Trey can forgive Cincinnati, again! This is my favorite stat line from today!

Disappointing. Makes this even more of a must win, in my opinion. Then after winning, the Bengals will get ‘less’ credit for beating good team that was missing their best player.

7th grade champs are Covington Catholic.

End of Q3. BW driving. CC 8 BW 0. Highlight of the quarter was the 65-yd punt by CC.

CC 8 BW 0 at the half.

6-min. Q2. CC 8 BW 0

7th grade championship game. End of Q1. Beechwood 0 Cov Cath 0.

Turkeyfoot 22 Highlands 0. Final. Turkeyfoot wins the 8th grade large school division.

I agree. I would feel more comfortable with Beechwood at about 6 on this list.

LCA is 1. Then if I am Beechwood, I would prefer 4 over 3, so I wouldn’t have to drive to Western Ky.

Based on this estimation then Beechwood would be on the road for the semifinals?

Championship Week I haven’t given up on posting about the Northern Kentucky middle school action but the league website hasn’t updated yet. I know Beechwood’s undefeated 7th grade team is playing in the finals, at NCC. The game is scheduled for 10/24, at 2p. I believe they play Cov Cath, but that information needs to be confirmed. Three 8th grade championship games also take place at NCC, on Saturday. Noon is the large school division game and 5p is the small school division game. I don’t know who plays in either game, so if anyone has the details please share it NCC vs St Henry will play in prime time (7p) to decide the medium school division champion. This should be a great game. A rematch from week 4 where St Henry won 22-21. Good luck to all teams.

I hope Lamar plays. I also hope this is the week that Bengals turn off season expectations into reality.
