I wish Paintsville was a little closer so I could have seen some of the Apollo games. Hopefully winning some close games like they did will pay off later in the season. From the stat lines in the paper it looks like Tyler Brown and Jake Wells both played really well throughout the tournament.

Brown did have a great tournament and probably would have been MVP, if Apollo had won.

 

Denton could have won the Best Defensive Player award and Well, played very well and shot the ball good. Apollo is a good team and well coached.

I agree Tony Hopper is a heck of a coach. I would have liked to see what he could have done with all the talent Apollo had a couple of years ago. I think that would have made a pretty good run in the state tournament.

Paintsville is a very good basketball team and will be for years to come....

Didn't see any of the games in the tournament..

But I'm guessing the Tigers got some calls going their way...

Nothing has changed in the past month...

Maybe you should have come to the tournament before you say things haven't changed in the last month. I am sure they couldn't have won their tournament on just help from the officials!!! :thumb:
