Player has to be a senior. Also coach of the year and coach of player voted player of the year have to be members of the KABC. This is why its called the "KABC Coach and Player of the Year."

 

Gotcha. So this where the politics of Ky All Stars begins.

And for the record Cody Collins may be a tremendous player who had a great senior season. While I may have thought of other people before him I don't mean it as a slight to him. This is a tremendous honor for him and I wish him well representing the 12th Region at the Ky All Star tryouts.

10th region winners, coach Humphrey and Bopper Stenzel are both very deserving.

Coach H took a team that had very little varsity experience and has them ranked as high as #10 in the state and a record of 27-5. He returned to this years team 7% of last years team scoring. Not the most talented team he has had at GRC but a team that plays great defense and thier offense feeds off of it.

 

Bopper Stenzel is the whole package. The only returning starter from last years team, his role was to run the team at PG and get the ball to the big guys. He only scored 87 points last year. This year he is still running the team as floor general, but has stepped up to be one of the leading scorers on the team. He has had 2 game where he scored 39 and 40 points. Great kid that just wants his team to win and will play his role....whatever that is in each game to help them.

Disagree with all of the Region 12 picks. Congrats nonetheless.
