I haven't watched enough of all the teams to see who is deserving or not but I do like the fact that coaches can't vote on their own so at least that is a little less biased. I do wonder though how you pick an Academic winner, regardless of who wins. Do other coaches know what another kids grades are from another school? Just curious.

Yes, nominees are submitted with a profile that includes Class placement, GPA, PSAT, ACT scores

Army is visiting Louis Maniacci.

His best basketball is certainly in front of him, and he screams classy, intelligent, well-groomed, well-mannered young man.

He is a very good young man who stepped his game up a lot in the last few weeks. Next year should be exciting for him and the team.
