It was February of 2000 during district play and GRC won 85-9. Zollo would have been in 1st grade and Guy strong would have been Coach. MMI has been closed (or at least hasn't had a team) since about 2006.

I was looking back throught the last few and I believe it was just like that in the first quarter or most of the first half. I don't have access to box scores but it looks like it got pretty ugly vs. Harrison County in the first round, maybe that was it. I know it was during the Coach Humphrey era.

I was there for some of that, and yes, it got really ugly. GRC dominated.

If memory serves me correctly, when Hinson was at St. Patrick they gave GRC all they wanted with Zollo and company the 2008-09 Region Tournament. The final was 57-48. GRC was ranked in the state that year to. Could be a great one!!
