I believe 1983 may have been Potters third or forth year in existence.We had a pretty good team that year that only had seventeen seniors in the entire school.I think we won about 12 games that year against KHSAA schools.

Like I said if Potter would have had the right leadership I feel they would have been on coarse with schools like Owensboro

You are correct about the gym.It was remodeled my senior year.We had to practice outside and in other local elementary gyms until it was complete.

The score of that game was 62-46. It was 23-21 at the half. Central was ranked 13th in the state at the time, and ultimately went on to win the region. One of the best players in Central's history was on that team, Craig Eversoll. '83 would have been at least the fifth year because they played from 1979-1984, and then again in 1987. I just found the article that said they shut down the school (or at least the high school part) in 1987 due to financial problems.
