Well I guess we might as well just not even play some of the regions. Just give them their place in the Sweet 16.

IMO he is one of the most credible high school sports journalists in the state. Just being sarcastic! For years they used to have the "Pick the Sweet 16" contest in the Ky. Post and it was always fun to try to figure out how many regions you could get right. I had a tie for the most correct picks one year @ 12 regions but lost in a tie-breaker on 9th region final game pts. I think it was the year that Lloyd won the 9th and the game was very low scoring. I think somebody picked some ridiculously low score and everybody else went way over. The predictions and silly Lit rankings were a few of the things you could use to try to figure a winner.

 

I looked forward to this every year. I remember one year I had 11 correct and a two year old won the contest. Her grandfather was a HS coach somewhere so the parents filled out a bracket for their daughter and she wins and gets a story about it in the Enquirer.

I'm surprised that all three picked Sheldon Clark in the 15th since that region seems to be pretty balanced with no dominant teams.:-)
