Henry Clay 64 Madison Central 49

Featured Replies

Bosley was scoring 20+ ppg earlier this season but has been 5 ppg or less recently. Anybody have any insight on what's up ?

I not worried about the Indians, they'll be just fine. I know another team in Ky. that's 22-1 and they seem to be doing Ok !

Henry Clay, ranked 13th in Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, jumped out to a 20-5 lead and its advantage was never fewer than nine points in the fourth quarter in a 64-49 win against previously undefeated Madison Central.

The fifth-ranked Indians (22-1), the last team in the state to lose a game, were held to 27 percent shooting from the field (15-for-55) and were outscored 44-20 in the paint.

Jordan Green led the Blue Devils (18-6) with 16 points and five rebounds. Christen Cunningham had 12 points, six rebounds and five assists.

Dominique Hawkins scored 21 points and Quan Taylor had 12 points and 11 rebounds for Madison Central.

Henry Clay is the most talented team in the region. But because of their youth, they have weird results like a 2-point win over Simon Kenton (of course, that game should have been in overtime), a 6-point win over Bryan Station (tied with a minute left) while also beating Madison Central handily. Heck, I have seen stretches within games where they are unbeatable then minutes later look like a completely different team. Has to drive Daniel Brown crazy. I definitely think they can win the 11th Region due to their talent, I just think they are a year away from doing it each and every night.

Wow. Didn't Madison Central just beat Trinity a couple weeks ago? Nice win for Henry Clay. Congrats.

Check SK's schedule and results, not really a slouch. Agree about Clay, think they will be a force, if not the best team in the state the next couple of years.

I look forward to following Henry Clay over the next 2 years.
