Thanks. Looking forward to it. Should be a couple very competitive games and should be fun to watch.

Great win for Scott!

Scott plays to their strengths no matter what the other team is doing. Carr slowed it down when he needed to and stepped it up when needed to. Call it boring if you want, it's smart basketball! As for the district site, everyone in NKY knows it's by far a "neutral site"... Lace em up and lets go, good luck to all teams in the 37th

Camels appeared as if they didn't want to be playing basketball in Claryville tonight. The score could have been alot worse but CC made a couple huge buckets to keep it close. Kudos to the Eagles and Coach Carr, IMO one of, if not, the best high school basketball coach in NKY year in and year out.

On a side note, the referees pet call (against and for both teams) for the evening was a charge (There had to have been at least 10 called and they missed 3 or 4 legitimate charges that weren't called). I think they finally called a block in the 4th quarter. (I'm pretty sure that wasn't the only blocking call, but it seemed as if it was.)

I had to rub my eyes a couple times, I'm pretty sure I saw the Vlade flop a few times.

I absolutely hate the bump and flop call. It has become part of the game that I DO NOT like. But we :deadhorse: in another thread.

There were no 'bumps', just flops. These were Academy Award winning Vlade Divac impersonations.

Do they still offer the hoops 101 class at Campbell County "How to take a charge" or has the school board banned it?

????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

That particular class was suspended after the infamous Fangman Incident of '07.

It is a draw to see who gets the one seed! Hopefully Scott wins to avoid controversy. Eagles need to step up.

Does anyone have stardom this game? Perhaps Goldie.

Can someone explain why CC's PA guy has to have the volume so loud that I can hear him from my house in Independence? He is good, just goes way overboard with the volume that really takes away from his performance.

As far as the game goes.... Scott doesn't slow it down. Coach Carr controlled the game and valued each posession because CC was constantly switching defenses. No one in their right mind would just try to fly up the court into a trap.

As far as the stars of the game go... I think Coach Carr gets the top award. He had the kids ready and well prepared for CC. Scott had several players really step up and have huge games. These guys can really get it done when they are focused and willing to give an all out effort. I agree with Mr. Pop. Don't count them out.

Just an FYI, I wasn't referring to a specific team. It was to both. Both teams had flops.

As for CC and the 'charge class', It wasn't a class but a drill. The easy way around that is to rename it.

Can we have a box score?

I agree about the PA guy, volume too loud. My ears are still ringing, Other than that he was great. Also agree about the coach,if your going to point out a star of the game it goes to Carr. the guys really played team ball tonight, its hard to stop one player when they all contribute like that. Nice inside out attack. You key on one player and another one started hitting shots.
