Nice.....:dancingpa

Birds get the victory over a struggling Seven Hills varsity team.

How about the size of that floor? Some tired kids that played Frosh/JV or JV/Varsity. The volleyball court fits exactly from free throw line to free throw line. If my calculations are correct the floor is 98 feet long. That is even 4 feet longer than a standard college floor. I was told it was designed as a practice facility for the Cinti Royals back in the day. Anyone have any other info that would explain why they would have an oversized court.

I checked with a guy in Cincy and he says it's 94 feet.

If so, they have do not have a regulation volleyball court ( 60 x 30 ) .

Birds pressed fullcourt the entire game. They were fine.

Seven Hills wasnt as bad as their record but with that said the Birds led by 22 when they emptied the bench.

Anytime that you can beat a Willie Hill coached team it is a solid win. He has built a nice program at Seven Hills.

He does a nice job. They have a nice guard in McFarland, not sure what year he is but he gets to the rim very well and draws contact. I heard Hill coaches Shining Stars as well.

Nice win for the Birds and a nice game for Witte. Great to see. Congrats on the win.

Nice game by Witte. It seems Highlands is getting a new high scorer every game. Balance is good!
