NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Here is a list of players in the 9th Region. I would love to see everyones thoughts on such a large list. cshs81 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 What are we basing it on? College potential? How he helps his team? Versatility? I'd move Steenken up. I'd move Beuter down. I'd move Guidugli up(unless defense and rebounding aren't taken into consideration).
Tiger1 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Duran Jefferson & Greg Rice are the two best players in the 9th with Jacobs right behind them.
BIGZIG Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I would lower Lawson to the 2nd 5 and put Penick in the Top 5.
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 I would lower Lawson to the 2nd 5 and put Penick in the Top 5. Yeah we know.
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 My reasoning for Rice at the three has to do with one thing. Consistancy. Can he do it night in night out like Duran does. I think everyone on here knows how I feel about Rice. He could be a good size D-1 prospect if he is more consistanct and grows 2 or 3 inches.
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 I can't move Lawson down just because he hasn't done much yet. He has been hurt for almost the entire 1st part of the season. He'll be back to normal form pretty soon.
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 A player I forgot would be Austin Hill, he should probably be in the middle of the pack somewhere.
NKYBOY1487 Posted December 27, 2005 Author Posted December 27, 2005 What are we basing it on? College potential? How he helps his team? Versatility? I was just basing my rankings on how good the players truthfully are. I wouldn't say all these are right on the mark but I think the best way to look at is looking at the players in the top tier, then the middle tier, and then the bottom teir. This just shows in NKY we might not have the D-1 and D-2 talent that Louisville and Lexington has but we do have alot of talent just a little lower than them.
bigstick23 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Howard isn't in the 9th but ranks as one of the best in the area.

BigStud Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 I can't move Lawson down just because he hasn't done much yet. He has been hurt for almost the entire 1st part of the season. He'll be back to normal form pretty soon. I saw Lawson and Steeken have a heads up match up. No way I give Lawson a nod over Steeken.
BIGZIG Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Yeah we know. I would make several other changes to your list but we are only a few weeks into the season and I once again realize how much you bored me last year. I'll leave the all-time teams and all everything teams to you and stud. Or should I say the All-Last 5-10 year teams because that is about as much knowledge as either of you have and honestly that is very limited.
BIGZIG Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 1. Greg Rice 2. Duran Jefferson 3. Todd Jacobs 4. Michael Romes 5. Dan Penick 6. Tim Tierney 7. Zack Kiernhan 8. Jeff Vorihees 9. Nick Steeken 10. Arnez Henderson 11. Sam Lawson 12. James Glenn 13. Ben Gudigli 14. Jimmy Ryan 15. Kevin Bueter :thumb: Now believe it or not I can pretty much go along with this list. Now maybe you can explain it some to the boy, bigstud.
