Mike Brown the NFL’s Executive of the Year for 2011

Really? Wow I had no idea single game seats went to him too....

He is not going to change much about his ways I don't know what is so hard to understand about that. I even agree I understand why people wouldn't want to have season tickets, because that is guarnteed money your giving up no matter what if the Bengals suck or not. That is why I said do the single game tickets stuff, your not giving him money to watch a bad product. If he actually has a team on the field doing well like this year, then people should buy tickets and go support the team. If they suck then you haven't wasted your money, because just don't go. You make the same statement by doing that, season tickets is the only guarntee money he for sure will make from fans. Make him have to put a product on the field that wins, for people to come to games. Then the times he does, go out and support them. Not a hard concept. That does both sends a message to him, but also gives us what we want. And that is to only give money to him for when he gives a good product.

Or you can do what fans did this season. They stayed away even though the team was performing well. That ended up forcing Brown to do the BOGO ticket sales. If fans continue to do this it is more likely to force change instead of giving him a pass when the team has a good season. Let him prove over 2 or 3 seasons that he has improved his attitude towards the fans. Do you think that ticket prices would have been lowered if the fans would have went on and bought up the single game tickets without the BOGO offer? That's an easy answer: No, they wouldn't have been lowered. By not giving in some change was brought about. I'm glad more fans took that attitude than took your view.

Yet guess what people still complained about Mike Brown for even making those changes. You are wrong if you think he will make big changes, and it's not that hard to see. He has proven many times how hard headed he is, and that is not going to change. Which by the way his ticket prices changed from the very top upper corners which was a big change, and a few other upper sections changed by just three dollars. You act like I am saying people should willing just always give their money up to Mike Brown. Yet what is the biggest reason why people complain about Mike Brown? It is because he has not given the city a real winner. So when we actually do have a team who is winning, why not support them and go? We are getting what we want, yeah don't go out and the buy season tickets for the next year. Just go for the year that is going well, then guess what if they suck the next year people won't go. Then guess who won't be making as much money? So guess who will have to try to make changes to get the team better to come back? Season tickets is what allows him to get by on fooling the fan base. Just don't buy season tickets and only come the years that they are doing well. So this way he gets no free seasons of making money for bad teams because of season ticket holders who were fooled in thinking they be good.

Which by the way I don't regret for one second going to 6 games this year. I got to games with friends to watch my favorite team play. A good team with lots of young talent, a team who plays with lots of energy and is fun to watch. This is the kind of team that Bengal fans saw we have been wanting, and we had that this year and it was fun to be a part of it.
