The All-Pro team has not been announced. I would assume that will be Aaron Rodgers once it is released.

I guess your right... I didn't realize how bad the afc qb's are this year..

The AFC is terrible at the WR position. Heck, at all "skilled" positions they take a back seat to the NFC. Up front I like the AFC better.

It would have been Schaub had he not been injured. Fitzpatrick was making a good run for it until he got paid and the Bills decided to lose for nearly two straight months, mid-season. Obviously Manning is injured this year as well. Flacco? No.

 

Rivers gets in by default. The real question is who will be the alternate if Brady or Big Ben make the Superbowl?

Dalton is 1st QB alternate...I'm assuming he ends up in Hawaii...

Dalton, Nugent, Gresham, Whitworth, Atkins, Peko, and Benson are all alternates...

Dalton, Atkins and Nugent are 1st alternates.

Whitworth is a 2nd alternate.

Gresham is a 3rd alternate, and Peko and Benson are 5th alternates.

And in case anyone was wondering, I was not intentionally snubbing Dalton in not mentioning him earlier. He just falls in to the same category as the others. Beyond the first two AFC Pro Bowlers, take your pick.

 

I have always found it odd the NFL releases their Pro Bowl selections prior to the season ending. A good argument could be made for Stafford over Eli, especially when you consider both performances the past two weekends. Does anyone know when these selections have to be post-marked by?

As some may wonder, the Pro-bowl is considered to be a great honor because it is voted on by players and coaches. You cannot vote for your own teammates. So, they take pride in what their peers think of them.
