Clinton 50

 

Pulaski had 4 starters foul out with one player picking up 4 fouls in the 1st Qtr!

 

Yes no doubt homecooking was involved, maroon players don't ever foul, plus everyone knows refs get bonus checks for cheating for the home team. Can you blame the ref's, Clinton County fans are known to be the most vicious people in the state, the ref's would not make it out alive, seriously who can blame the zebra men, there would have been complete chaos in Southern Kentucky had the maroon men won. When the visiting team loses it is always homecooking

Clinton Co. has always been a tough place to play, all the way back to when Wendell Castel Coached there. I don't doubt that there was a little Early Christmas Dinner served.lol

Yeah, and that home cooking eventually only hurts the Clinton Co team. When they get away from there during tourney time they won't get those calls, and they'll lose because of it. 50-14 in foul shots tells you what's going on. Can't play the season like that and then adjust your play when it counts.

50 free throws in a game, that is a lot. I think Powell Co. shot 66 aganist a Louisville team ( I believe Central) back in the mid to late 70's.

Powell County shot 89 free throws and made 70 in a home game against Shawnee, who was rated number one in the state at the time in 1972. Powell won the game but I don't rememebr the score. That is a state record by a wide margin.

The next most free throws shot was Edmonson County's 66 vs Cumberland County in 2003.

Huge discrepecy yes, perhaps Pulaski needs to work on discipline, certainly they are falling well short of preseason expectations.

They'll be all right. I pegged them as the 2nd best team in the 12th and I haven't seen anything to change my mind from those preseason expectations.
