ANYWAY...why do people always like child support is money a non-custodial parent would NOT be paying if not divorced? I mean, in reality, the parents would most likely spend that money on their kids anyway..as raising kids AIN'T cheap!

I pay child support and still spend quite a bit of money outside of that child support on my kids as well. I think it is strange she'll get more money for being allowed to maintain her lifestyle he gave her through marriage than child support.

December 21, 201114 yr Prenups do not save you any money. They just make it easier to show what you had prior to the marriage. What you had prior to marriage is still yours, you just have to prove it What ever is earned during the relationship gets split. There is a formula based upon kids, income, etc. I'll think he'll be just fine. That depends on the state right?
