Conner can be good if they get good guard play. I think they shot 50% in the first half but they just don't get enough shots due to turnovers.

CCH JV won by about 8 or so.

Conner fans should be thrilled with the play of Carter Byrns tonight. He's a really good kid and very laid back. Good to see him make outside shots, drive to the basket, play physical D, and throw a good forearm even if it did correctly result in a T. He needs that fire.

Ruthsatz had 34. 11/15 from the field and 1/1 from three and 11/11/ from the line. One of the best shooting nights on CovCath Radio.

The CovCath Freshmen defeated the Conner Freshmen behind Bo Schuh who lead the Colonels with 18 points by a score of 49-20. CovCath led the entire game and the outcome was never in doubt. Matt Shumate netted 6 followed by Noah Galvin and Drake Ficke with 5 each.

CovCath JV also won their game by a score of 38-30 over the Conner JV with Mark Schult scoring 16 points.

TOG, when you post stats give us rebound stats as well if you have them.

The reason for the 34 instead of the 32 that the scoreboard showed, was that twice tonight the Conner scoreboard operator had to be prompted to add points onto the scoreboard for CovCath. Ruthsatz had 30 points and then went to the line and made 2/2 from the free throw line which the Conner Scorekeeper didn't add to the CovCath points on the scoreboard, until prompted by the CovCath official scorer and coaching staff. While he did add the two points to the teams total score, he didn't add the two points on to Ruthsatz score on the scoreboard.
