Looks like the 14th is more of a toss up than ever!

I can't believe no one has mentioned Knott Central. Kcc has come off their start in years. They have a really solid team this year. Stamper can come off the bench and help them and once they get Matt Amburgey back they will be a very good team. Feltner has his team looking good so far. I mean yes they got beat by a good Letcher Central team and Fleming but you can't beat everyone unless you are in-human or unless you play very weak teams. As for Kcc they play very tough teams. So IMO KCC needs to be 2nd or 3rd in the region if not the best in the region!

I do not know about number one in the region, but they are good and will improve by season's end and if they can get through a tough district tourny, they can upset anyone and win the title, but I would consider it an upset if they did. The boys are in shape and pull away in the fourth quarter much of the time, I love the effort and hope that the Patriots can make a run at the Regional title, lets see how they do in the WYMT-Classic coming up in a couple of weeks, that IMO will answer a lot of questions I have.

4. Leslie

IMO, Hazard is a better team the JBS is. You can't really say, and be serious, that JBS will be a better team in March

I've watched LCC a couple times this year and I believe that my top 5 here are slightly better, and I say slightly because there is a chance I could be wrong. Jackson City will take on Hazard tom. 12/27 at Hazard Memorial Gym in Hazard's Tournament. If Jackson City does or does not beat Hazard, I still think these teams are closely rated. Even LCC is there too, but in a three way tie for 5th, I have to break the tie and I'm picking my Tigers. Matter of fact, I think the 14th from #1 down to 9 or 10 is pretty close. Not that we've forgot about them, but Cordia and Buckhorn are also in the mix. JBS is a good team, but I believe that these 6/7 teams are 10-15 points better. IMO

I think that Knott Central is better than Lee County, but that is just my opinion.

Let me add this before someone calls my hand on it. I forgot to mention Estill, hard to get used to them in the 14th after all these years. Anyway, I don't see them as a top 5 team for now, but I do put them into the same catagory as Cordia and Buckhorn.

They play very tough teams??? Of the teams they have beat none of them have a winning record and their combined record is 16-29...I wouldn't call that very tough.
