I've heard that both boys are no longer on the team. The problems seem to stem with the father and not the young men who by all accounts are great kids. Can anyone shed any light on this and does anyone know what is next for these two wrestlers?

That would be awful for the kids.

To my knowledge they are trying to go to Ryle. The kids are great, but the parent is a bully that has no respect for anyone. I know quite a bit of the things that went on, but not sure what I can post.

From what I've read in about 5 minutes I can't imagine any school wants the obviously talented kids enough to put up with Pops. Reading his posts seems like I'm watching a bad wrestling/karate movie from the 80s.

Every coach dreams of having two boys like them transfer in, but no one would want the headache that follows them. The things he has done is stupid and i'm sure the boys are ashamed of him.

From Kywrestling.com....looks like the Myers are going to Campbell Co.

Multiple questions/thoughts.

 

- Will they be eligible to wrestle there?

- This would put Campbell right there with LaRue/Trinity/Union to win both State Duals and Individual State. Might make them the overall favorite though LC is qutie strong this year.

- I like Coach Bankemper and I'm sure he knows what he is getting himself into. Their Dad is simply, out of control and could ruin the wrestling room.

- For the boys sake, I hope this works out for them but I fear it will be another repeat.
