mhighfield Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Pc takes 3rd place here in the hoop-it-up.
Jim Schue Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Pendleton went on a 11-0 run midway through the second half to take command of what had been a tight game. Pat Elliott had a double-double with 26 and 11, plus five steals for PC. Preston Knowles was sharp for GRC, scoring 20.
catsin05 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 congrats cats!!! way to bounce back!!! :dancingpa
gold sunrise Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Keep working hard Cards. Many thought this would be a blow-out...I knew better. :thumb: Preston Knowles is a very under-rated player in the 10th.
MsKitty Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Great win Cats! Way to bounce back after a tough loss. Sounds like Pat Elliott was a beast, once again. Congrats!
Boucher Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I wonder why Knowles was on the bench for most of the 4th quarter? He is a special player. I was also impressed with Pendleton's PG, I don't recall his name, number 23. I know everyone thinks that Pendleton is clearly #1 in the 10th, but after watching GRC, PC, and Mason all week, I would give the slight edge to Mason, with Pendleton a close second, and GRC not far behind at 3rd. From what I've seen, the 10th has some excellent coached teams.

BlueDawg Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 According to some of the PC players, Preston Knowles asked to be taken out of the game and I dont know why though.
OverTheBackOne1 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Congrats on the big win by the Cats!!!

Bird Man Posted December 26, 2005 Posted December 26, 2005 He may have been sick.. PC was very exhausted by the last day of the Tourney. It was their 5th game in 6 days, all on the road, and against very good competition. They finished the Tourney by beating a very talented and improved GRC team. Congrats to Pendleton for sucking it up and receiving 3rd place.
FalmouthRedDevil Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Hello Birdman ! the cats will be ok! I was questioning how tired they were when they played Laurel!
Tiger1 Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 PC will be okay and in my opinion is still the best team in the 10th until someone beats them in the regional tournament.
