D. Jones has to play for the Indians. He's the most athletic player on the team (maybe in the entire school). He's going to be the difference in many games for MC.

It said above Jones had 12 points and 5 rebounds. When you say he has to play, what do you mean? Appears he played significant minutes in this one.

He didn't start last night and I'm not sure he played real "significant minutes." He's got the potential to be special and is going to cause a matchup nightmare for some teams on Montgomery Co's schedule.

I think the stats showed he played 23 minutes. I agree with you. He is going to cause some problems, especially for teams that decide to concentrate on Prewitt and/or Handshoe. This will open it up for him.

Tanner Combs has gotten better as well. If he can give Coach Wise 20 min./game that's going to be HUGE.

Prewitt with 2 fouls early in the first quarter helped that sluggish start. But it was good for Montgomery to learn to play without Omar this early off in the season, will only help them later on.

For last nights game it was. Jones had the most minutes followed by Crisp with 22 minutes.

 

Tanner looked tremendously better. I loved it when he could not find the open man after a defensive rebound so he brought it out on the dribble to start the break.

How tall is Jones? Is he a guard or forward? and is the Combs kid really big and has a younger brother maybe,also big for his age? Thanks.

Jones is a 6'3" sophomore that plays the 3 or 4. Tanner Combs is a 6'6" Junior. His "baby" brother is Shelby, a 6'5" (or 6") 8th grader.
