I think if the supporters of each are honest with themselves, they're not all that upset it worked out the way it did. I know each would be confident against the other, but they'll have no worries next week instead.

I agree, but still believe it would have been a great game.

BG much the best, I will also say I have never seen a team get off to a worst start than John Hardin.

I am not upset at all. I am thankful. It feels good to be a BG fan going into the game as the favorite instead of the underdog. And it is in BG also. Doesn't get much better than that. I have no intentions in participating in any Highlands/BG hypothetical matchups. It is a game that is not going to happen. C'est la vie.

The Purples bolted out to a very early 21-0 lead and never looked back. JH turned the ball over five times, and two fumbles were returned for scores. On that scoring point, the Purples are KY high school football's version of the Boston Celtics. You hardly ever see Celtic players putting up impressive individual numbers, but put them together and you blow away the competition. The highest scoring Purple (no lie!) is Sr RB Hunter Neveras with 114 pts! Even the defense has been instant offense, and tonight was no different.

I felt bad for the JH players and staff. I know that they have a better team than that. They were much bigger than the Purples. We also broke a jinx tonight...the visiting team had never lost in this series!

The final shocked me as much as anybody. It certainly has been a memorable season to date. One more mile to go...

WOW, thats an impressive win..

Purple Pride, I'm with you!! Mrs PH and I hope to hook up with you next week if you like...just look for my aqua and black wheelchair...I'll have a black and gray leather jacket on!
