Wow. Didn't see this coming. Good luck to him. My son and I were just talking about him 5 minutes ago.

Between Russell and Dakari Johnson (and any other young studs I'm missing), Montverde Academy could be unstoppable for the next few years.

Pops gave the indication that his grades have slipped and he wants a different environment.

Great coach and Motntverde has been a powerful basketball program too. Wish him all the best and will be keeping up with him.

Wow, big move. Boyle was a great coach at St. Pats I'm sure he's going to do some huge things at Montverde. He may not have got his national championship last year but it may come soon enough down there. At least a shot at winning the ESPN Rise tournament or something, Montverde is always competetive in that anyway, I could only imagine putting Boyles at the helm will make them an even more solid program.

Hope this is positive move for the young man based upon what's best for him. Too many times we've seen kids "lost in the shuffle" for reasons other than the kid's best interest.
