How did Jeff Davis and South Laurel do?

CCH did pretty well against a big, strong Greenup County team.

 

This is the youngest and smallest looking CCH team I've seen in quite a while.

 

They play extremely hard hectic defense. I liked the effort.

 

I agree CovCath did look small I thought they was suppose to have a 6'9 kid?

SK won the first half and lost the second half they looked pretty good though.

Sk may be in for a long season. Their offense is centered around 2 playeers. #24, their point guard sure doesn't like his left hand. Everytime he was forced left he would try to spin back right. Coaches will make them pay if that cann~ot be corrected.

They looked good to me made a bunch of 3s and also played good defense.

SK played very good against a team from Ohio that went 21-4 last year and also has a D1 recruit.

Walton played right with Dixie. They are going to surprise peope this year.

No clue. Heard WV played really well in the 2nd half. Not so much in the first half.

We should say thanks to SK and the Sorrell family for hosting this event. For those of that know the family and knew Kelsey it's very gratifying to see good basketball helping a great cause.

Has to be Jr Blake Sanders who is a top 15 player in the KY Jr class IMO. He is a strong kid who has played AAU ball with KY Elite and The Ville in the past.

Not sure. He can definitely play though.

 

North Oldham had 3 really nice-looking players as well. Big, big kid, floppy-haired skinny guard that can shoot, plus another athletic kid.

North Oldham has the big 6'7 kid Devin Rowan. David Levitch is likely the skinny shooter, he plays with The Ville AAU team. They are heavy favorites to win the 8th Region but Oldham Co will be good as well.
