10th region this year

Featured Replies

Seniors Brandon Stamper and Tim Goss will probably round the end of the rotation with junior Jordan Pike being the probable 3rd starter in the rotation.

Sophomores Ray Everett and Ian Adams could also be in the rotation if needed.

Does Spata pitch any?

Why yes he does. I also forgot to mention that Junior Brenden Wells could also be in the rotation.

Its amazing not to see Tanner Norton or Zach Fardo mentioned in this conversation.

Zach Fardo is a great player, but isn't near the level of Harrison's Jordan Martin.

I don't think anyone was trying to compare anyone to Martin. Martin is indeed a phenomenal player and the best pitcher in the Region. But Fardo is also a quality player and deserves mention in any 10th Region thread that mentions standouts among the teams.

Harrison County is always a threat to win the region and compete among the best in the state. This year should be no different, but as last year proved, it is certainly no guarantee.

If I do recall correctly, Fardo robbed a homerun at Harrison County on a dead sprint. I agree he's a great player, just making a point.

Sorry to go a bit off topic here, but it is the off-season......I got to see Ray Everett pitch against us a couple times, but how did his season go in general? Had some very nice innings against us, and some just OK.

Everett mainly played JV and had very good season but did play some Varsity.

Martin excellent pitcher and all around player, excellent Bat. Fardo definitely one of top players in the region. Also remember Harrison Counties Brandon Kendall led the region in official pitching stats 1.24 ERA, Led with most innings pitched, and strike outs for Harrison.

Good call. Martin is clearly the best pitcher in the region but he also has a few really talented ball players to play with. I think the key to the Breds this season is to have young ones step up. Behind Martin and Kendall, I see Harrison County taking the region this year.

Ray Everett i heard has had a impressive off season and will be in Scott's Rotation and be their center fielder. Ohmer is injured right now which hurts them. Ohmer, Everett, Pike, Spata, Stamper, Goss will be their six regular pitchers. Ohmer,Goss, and pike are left handers.

Defending 10th Region champ Clark County returns one of the better hitters, if not the best hitter in the 10th in Logan Mcqueary, speedy Center Fielder Pokey Harris, and pitcher/Outfielder Taylor Howard. They lost their ace pitcher from last year, Anthony Withrow, but Clark County will be Harrison County's closet competition IMO.

Do you see Mcqueary being the favorite for this years POY?

I think Hunter Hill from Harrison wins POY, in my opinion.

I would say it comes down to Mcqueary and Hunter Hill of Harrison County. My pre-season pick would be Mcqueary.
