Who wins this game and why?

 

I am obviously going with Bellevue to with their 4th in a row against Dayton

game will be won or lost upfront.

I really hope to see Dayton win for obvious reasons, but it will take a lot for them to do it. It would be really nice to see the Green Devils win on Friday, especially with Craig Smith (Coach Smitty) retiring after this year. Regardless of the ups and downs that Dayton has been through, Coach Smith was well liked and loved by many and impacted many lives with people that played football, as well as those that didn't. It's sad to see one of Dayton's long time people leaving, but he has put in more than enough of his time. Good luck to Dayton and congratulations to one of the best and influential men that I got to know during my younger years.

It's definitely one of them. As far as history goes, it is one of the longest going rivalries that I know of.

If I'm not mistaken I think this rivalry is the most played in the state. I know that Male v. Manual is the oldest, but the Bellevue v. Dayton rivalry has played the most games, thanks to playing 2x's a year for many many years.

Bellevue wins this one in a close one at Dayton.

I wish they could return back to the tradition and play twice.

Dont think Bellevue scores 30. the teams that had scored on DHS have been passing or spread teams, excluding Walton. Even last week DHS did a very good job against Beechwood's running game.
