Who runs the district table and gets the 1 ssed?

Should be a great game. Monroe had a bye week this last week and that sometimes worries me, I have seen that make teams lose focus and come out flat, hopefully they won't do that against Edmonson. It's going to take a good effort to come away with the win...

On paper Edmonson looks very impressive, but is that where it counts? Monroe seems to be the team that never puts up big numbers on inferior teams and has played a little tougher schedule...not a lot tougher...but a little tougher.

 

Monroe's stats are not as impressive as Edmontons with them putting up 418 points to Monroe's 278 and giving up as little as 119 to the Falcon's 159.

They run the ball very well with 2666 yds to Monroe's 1790. Passing 336 to Monroe's 735.

 

the difference in this game is going to be Monroe has a very versital attach throwing as well as running and Edmonson is 85%+ Running!!

I'm just thinking that the winning team will have an easier than expected time....

Edmonson County has played a bakery schedule. I would have expected their schedule to be tougher given they knew what they had coming down the line. They are better than Monroe but Monroe is a tough place to play. I say Edmonson by a touchdown late on a questionable call.

Look out for the Falcons to walk over Edmonson. The Falcons have had a harder schedule this year and are up for any kind of fight. Most of the Falcon varsity will be fired up and playing hard in a game devoted to one of the JV players who was injured Monday night during a jv game (he's going to be fine, by the way).

The game is being played at Edmonson...Monroe has not played well at Edmonson in the past but this team has had two weeks to prepare for them and they are coming off a cake walk team in Adair. Adair put up 20 points on their starters and Monroe let them put up six against their jv and freshman. Monroe had 48 at the half. This will be a good game but I do not see Edmonson County winning this one. I have been wrong in the past but I am very confident this time....

This game will come down to execution, and will depend on who makes the least mistakes and takes care of the football. Looking at schedule neither team over achieved, so with added pressure tonight lets see who can come up big and make the plays.

You are absolutely correct dickbutkus!!! You can combine both schedules and it still not be very impressive....Edmonson should be undefeated and Monroe should be 5-3! They beat who they were supposed to. The only game Monroe should probably have won is Warren East...but they laid down and lost for it!!!! Should be a really good game though!!!
