October 4, 201114 yr I don't care who you put under center for UK, the SEC defenses will have a field day hitting the QB. Mossokowski might be playing with community college guys, but keep in mind he is also playing against community college guys. There is no comparison for LSU's defense at the community college level. UK has only played 2 SEC defenses and the other 3 teams were all weak. I had high hopes for Newton coming into the season, but until he develops some pocket presence, he will not be a good QB.

October 5, 201114 yr I am glad to see that some fans do not put the blame mostly on Newton. He has struggled but in his defense he has not had the best protection from his line and yes his WR's have been bad this year. Honestly, the talent is not there this year that has been in the past IMO.
