How Bad is Dixie Beat Up?

Featured Replies

I just got back into following High School football this year around here and have heard alot about this Dixie team? I keep hearing about how bad they are beat up. When will the Bruns kid return and I heard that the Justice kid and Pike Both got hurt in the Beechwood game this past Friday. How bad are they hurt and when will they return? I would assume they are going to need all of these players if they want to compete for a 6A district Title.

Just found out Justice is gone for the year. ACL or MCL tear this past Friday night. Also Withrow on the line tore his bicep muscle. Bruns probably be back for the Simon game. Pike will be fine. He sprained an ankle and took a helmet to the back. Not having Justice really hurts Dixie on both sides of the ball. That kid was really playing well the past two games before he got injured in the Beechwood game Friday night.Good luck to Colin and we wish him well.

I hope he didn't tear it when he went back into the game. They should've never let him back in. He was noticeably limping around, and the game meant nothing.

That's very disturbing to hear. If he took a blow to his knee and it suffered trauma, it's the second hit that can do the more serious damage. Kid should of never reentered the ball game. Sad. Love Colin Justice and this is hard to read, if indeed true. Get well soon Colin.

Best wishes to Colin Justice. Great kid and a really good football player. He will be missed tremendously on both sides of the ball by the Colonels. As Coach Rash said in the paper, the Beechwood game plan was to stop Justice running the ball so it hurt Dixie a lot when he went out early in that game. Good luck to Colin Justice on a successful and speedy recovery.

Sorry to hear about this for the Colonels.

Man that is sad to hear. I hope Justice has a full recovery. He was a tough hard nose kid.
