This was in the enquirer, I'm sure there are more, but this is a direct quote from the article. Sorry if your school is not listed.

It's the "Brian Williams- That's My Boy" award. I don't think that it should ever be left out or forgotten

Give me a break, I was trying to keep it all on one line. :D

Do all of these kids have a chance to play in the NKY all star game?

No. The all-star game voting is different from who all made the NKFCA all-star teams

True, but if your a senior, and your on the list, you will be on the team unless you choose not too.

You sure about that, because my senior year when I got to play in the all-star game some of my senior teammates didn't even though they were voted on the NKFCA team to. I know they was upset that they couldn't play in it so I know that they wanted to. So I dont think everyone on the list gets to go even if their on the NKFCA list.

Plus I think the most any one team can send is 5 and that is usually just for the teams that have really good years. Some teams can only send 2. Also There are alot teams on here who have around 7 or 8 guys who named a NKFCA all-star. So there are going to be a few players who wont be able to play in the all-star no matter if they want to or not.

It usually works out. Some schools do not have any players on the team because of other stuff going on like baseball, trips, camps, colleges don't want them to play, other all-star games. Some years teams are begging for a QB for instance.

Newport should have had more than one player in the NKY top 24. They had a guy that was 3rd team all state that didnt make it.

Yeah I know that. The year I played on the all-star team we didn't have a true quarterback really, because Wera from beechwood couldn't because he was still playing baseball down state.
