Will they be the Bell County of '08, '09, '10 and possibly even '11? Bell County is always very good, but they've been great, dang near flawless the past few years.

 

I was wondering the same thing, especially since Coach Hilton has left.

3 years from now Mercer County may be a better team than Boyle County if Paul Rains is still at Mercer. Mercer should be better than Boyle(on paper) by 2013. They should have some good years ahead as long as they buy in to Rains. Contrary to their current results I am hearing he has the program going in the right direction. Time will tell if they continue to buy in. Lots of talent currently at Mercer from the 7th-10th grade right now. They only have themselves to blame if they can't consistently improve.

 

Wow, I didn't know that Mercer County has developed in to the team that it has; happy to hear this about the team.

Frankfort has a great group of Freshmen and Sophmores. Plus the addition of some very talented 8th graders. I would say they would be in the serious contender for a trip to Bowling Green.
