Heard that Middletown was suppored to really be good this year.

What was the score of this game?

Last score I saw was 14-13 Colerain with Colerain inside Middletown's 10 with under 4 minutes to play.

Colerain lost both their starting RB and QB for the year to knee injuries, so not quite the same team that they started the year off with.

I was thinking the same thing while I was watching last night. Colerain's injuries would explain part of it but I just wasn't impressed like I expected to be.

Was I the only one that thought they grass looked really high?

The field looked terrible. It was clumpy like where dogs use the bathroom in an unkept yard.

Unimpressed? What were you expecting exactly? These teams would be #2 & #3 in KY, with Trinity being the obvious #1. I think the team speed element was lost while watching it on television, since both teams have exceptional speed. It was definitely sloppy, and injuries may have played a factor, but both teams are very good.

In person, the athletism stood out very clearly---lots of speed and a lot of hard hitting.

I would also agree (after watching the replay) that TV did not do the game any justice.

Count me as one person who thinks that the QB last night will be an improvement over the injured QB. Smith can actually make a left handed pitch ... Where Ramsby struggled at times.

I thought the QB ran the option better than the previous QB.
