i am really interested to see who wins this one. With the better team probably winning the top spot in the district if PT doesnt improve.

I still think PT is the team to beat right now.

FC will pretty much have their final standing in the district determined in a short time span as they play Trigg this week and PT next week.

PT also has the advantage of playing both Trigg and FC in Paducah.

Yes the home field advantage sure did help them with Mayfield. It just depends on which PT team shows up, Jeckyl or Hyde....

The same is true for Fort Campbell. If the team that played last week against Christian County shows up against PT, it should be a good game. If the team that played Warren Central shows up.....it probably won't.

ahh the joys of 15-18 yr old men trying to be consistent..You got to love high school football!!!!

No team enjoys a bigger home field advantage in the state than Fort Campbell

Why might that be?

Why might that be?

1.) Access to the stadium for opposing fans. It's not as strict as it used to be but no other school in the state required fans to stand in line with a driver's license and insurance to watch a football game. I understand why that is. But it's still an advantage.

2.) Where else does your team bus drive past tanks and helicopters to get to the field.

3.) Fort Campbell is one of the few teams in the western end of the state that plays on turf.

Come on now; it sounds like the Trigg supporters are already working on a list of why things won't work out in their favor Friday night. (Just Kidding)

Bring your driver's license and insurance - it should be a great night for football.

I've always said Fort Campbell had the best home field advantage, even before Berner and the field turf. :D

District game, this will be a statement game. Bring the Popcorn

Lookin' forward to a good game of football tonight! GO FALCONS!!

Later.
