Mayfield 7 Graves Co 0 with 3:47 to go in 1st qtr.

 

Graves got the ball 1st and started at there own 31 yd line and put together a good drive picking up 3 1st downs and a couple of long plays, but, the drive stalled on downs at the Mayfield 20, but, they did eat up almost 6:00 off the 1st qtr clock... The Cardinals put together a solid 80 yd drive, aided by a late hit on 3rd down and long and then another facemask penalty, ending with a Jackson 3 yd run. Extra point was good...

Graves answers with a 65 yd drive capped by a 1 yd QB run, extra point is good... Score tied at 7 with .30 secs to go in 1st qtr..

End of 1st qtr 7-7...Mayfield starts the 2nd qtr just inside Graves territory..

Mayfield had a decent drive going inside the Graves 30 yd line, but the Eagles came up big on 4th and 4 and they take over.

Graves moving the ball well on offense and has it 1st and 10 in Mayfield territory at the 44 yd line..

Graves forced to punt after a couple of penalties, Mayfield takes over at there own 36 yd line.

Halftime score 14-7... The Cardinals are in a battle with a game Eagle team... That TD to end the 1st half has to be a big letdown for the Eagles and the Cards will get 1st crack at it in the 2nd half..
