I had an understanding that Corbin's O line was technically perfect and fast as lightning, so this game was shocking to me.

They played well enough offensively to take care of Corbin mistakes, thats something they didn't do last week. I wonder what Corbin will do to get better offensively. Maybe Danville played better than 4chs thinks, you tend to think that way when you lose. I don't think Corbin fans are giving Danville much credit.

 

All I'm saying is we just don't know about Danville still, Corbin just did not make them sustain any drives, maybe they are capable, could not tell from last night's game. I could be wrong,but a team better than Corbin will force the Ads to the air and from what I saw, they need to improve in that area. Danville obviously outplayed the Hounds

Way to go ADS. If I'm not mistaken this is the first time in a long time that Danville has defeated Corbin at Corbin. I know they beat us in 1979 and 1981 my soph and senior years. I know Danville got beat in 1990 in the semi's. Does anybody know the last time Danville won at Corbin, playing Corbin?

 

If I remember they played each other in a bowl game in the late 80's and Danville won if I recall. You forgot to mention that the Ads defeated Corbin in '80 and '82 and the Hounds went on to win the AA State title in both seasons. Last time they did that.

The O-line played pretty well for the most part as Corbin rushed for around 200 yards, although they are far from being as good as someone must have stated. Danville was solid defensively, well prepared for what Corbin was trying to do and made the Hounds earn everything they got. The DB's let WR's loose behind them a couple of times, but the Hounds missed the TD connection both times.

The Danville paper reported Corbin only rushing for 108 yards on 48 carries. Mainly because Ty Cobb was listed at 7 carries for -45 yards.

Danville has beat Corbin several times in the last 30 years. I just could't remember Danville winning at Corbin.
