First, I know Western Hills isn't that good.

 

But...it sure seems like Franklin County has an offensive machine this season. Combined that with being in a fairly weak semi-state, could the Flyers have a team capable of getting to Bowling Green?

Big win, but it was sloppy. Officials tried to make it their night. Anyway about 250 yards passing from Woodside. A ton of rushing yards. 1st TD by Daniel Anderson on the 1st play. Big runs by Chris Roberts too. Defense held Hills to under 100 total yards for the game. Now the big test will be the road trip to Letcher Central next week. Go Flyers.

Going there will be difficult, even though I believe Franklin County has the much better team. I'm anxious to see Anderson County play tomorrow to compare them with Franklin in that district.

 

What can you tell us about Western Hills? They are in a new 3A district this season; can they compete at that level?

Not sure really about Hills. Coach Miller does a good job so hopefully they can. Also a lot of BIG hits by the Flyers. Be some sore boys Sat. for sure. Anderson looks really strong, but so is the whole District.

That's true. Two pretty nice teams are going to miss out on the playoffs from that district this season. And they might all be favorites against their opposite district.

The one TD catch tonight by Ryan Timmons was unreal. 1 handed at the goal line with a defender right there. This kid is the real deal.

Big win, but lets not make any mistake Hills is bad, two games not even a sniff on the endzone...... Letcher is not a very good team either but the trip will be the test.
