I think West has lost a lot of good players over the last two seasons. Coach Heasley is doing a really good job there and they should be in the thick of their district race, but Knox Central will likely be a bridge too far.

I would not take too much from KC's "scrimmage" last week, that team does not compete for the playoff's in Tn. Can't believe Coach Russell stated in the paper that West Jess barely lost to Boyle in the Region finals last year. Who is he kidding?

First, he's wrong. West didn't play Boyle in the playoffs last year. They lost 41-14 to Lexington Catholic in the second round. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not against promoting your opponent. But the information provided was false and easily disproved, which sort of knocks on his credibility!
