Wow, wish I could have made it, sounds like an excellent game.

Sounds like a heck of a game so far.

Birds havebeen shooting themselves in the foot offensively. They had Boyle's number on the defensive side, from the second series until late in the half. But then, Boyle started running two guys up the gut...and we kept picking the wrong one.

A 62-yard bomb to Sheehan sets the Birds up at the 14 of Boyle. A few plays later, Towles runs it around the end for a 1-yard score. The 2-point converion fails.
