This coming Saturday begins early for the Raceland Fans and Alums! Saturday there will also be a "Ram Reunion" at the old gym and parking areas of Ram Stadium.

ALL former players, coaches and fans/alums are invited for a "Ram Reunion" starting on Saturday afternoon and leading to the Rams season opener later that evening. I have heard that former Raceland coaches Randy Vanderhoof, Bill Tom Ross (?,hopefully), Larry Heck and Roger Snyder will be in attendance along with many former Raceland Ramblers/Rams players and Raceland h.s./Raceland-Worthinton h.s. Teachers and Alumni.

This is going to be a great season opening day for real Raceland fans: Ram Reunion at 2pm, it will be JFL Night for the younger Rams, and what I'm sure will be a great varsity game.

I expect Raceland to have some bugs to work out, but I expect a win for the Rams.

This one could very well be a tough one for the Rams. East, from what I understand has an entire new outlook and expectations for this season. That along with the fact that I have more than once known of an ECHS team that were considered the underdog to come into Ram Stadium and hand our butts back to us.

Young Rams........you are being already being called out and are on upset alert. How are you going to go into this one? Already looking to the next week opponet or playing Raceland Ram Football like so many teams in the past have played?

Alot of alums and former Rams and coaches will be at this one. Show them that you are ready to carry on the Ram Football name for playing every play and leaving everything that you have got out on that field Saturday night. :thumb:

We need our defensive and offensive fronts to play better. If that happens, we will win.

I agree, they are young on the average, inexperienced at best. But, I think we have enough players there to bread competition plus to keep fresh players on the field. They will get better, but it will take a game or two.

East Carter is coming into this one with a lot of confidence and according to the father of one of the starter's they have no fear after watching our Grid game. They feel they are the favorite's in this one and if we win, it's a true upset. I sure hope the boys in Orange step up and correct their mistakes from Friday.

Normally this game would be a no brainer but for some reason i think EC will win dont know why.

Hey Rams.....Is there a bullinten board in the team room?

As I said earlier, I have watched more than one East Carter team in the past that come into Ram Stadium and left with a "W", so they are not intimidated.

Question now is this......"What Say You"?? You have read/heard the statement has been put out there, I'm just sayin'.....

Good Luck Rams I wll be watching to see how you do "GO RAMS" JD

Thank you JD, we will be pulling for your guys as well. :thumb::thumb:

We are awfully young so you know that a person doesn't really know what to expect. My only prediction is that Raceland will come out and play hard, from what all I have heard is that they have a great attitude and work ethic.

It's weird that this game will be "so easy" Ec did not even watch the film till after the post was made, plus they watched their film, none on raceland. Nice try for the trash talk.

Good to have you Colonel 17.

Just a point. The East Carter players watched our grid game from behind our bench, in person. I think that is what was meant.

First, welcome to BGP's Colonel. Secondly, I need to remind you that we played the grid at East Carter and people in the know watched the game and one of those people was in my office yesterday and he DID tell me they were not impressed and thought this would be a Win for the Raiders. No trash talk from me and from what I saw, EC looked pretty good and we will have trouble if the offensive and defensive lines do not play well (I believe I posted this earlier).
