The Butler offer says plenty. Brad Stevens is one of the top coaches in the NCAA right now, imo. If the UK job were to open tomorrow, I'd think that Stevens and Smart (VCU) would be two of the younger coaches who'd have to get some consideration at least.

 

Stevens snatched up Shelvin Mack early on and that one's worked pretty well for him. I'd say that the jury is still out on Kameron Woods because of his age and the fact that bigs will typically develop a little slower, but he had a solid 4.2 & 4.8 avg on the year last year. Still haven't gotten the chance to see Hall play in anything more than highlight clips, but I'm intrigued now. Butler could end up being a really nice fit for Hall.

Agree on Woods, hope he has a break out year this coming season. On Hall, also think that Butler would be a great fit for him. Will be interesting to see when he announces.

Timmy Knipp was a 3. Much better ball handler and shooter. Hall has him in every other category. Most importantly a better motor.
