June 21, 201115 yr Could've sworn he was....I'm going to just throw this crazy one out there...Tim Wakefield. Winner... I looked it up after I guessed.
June 21, 201115 yr Winner... I looked it up after I guessed. I knew it had to be someone old, and immediately thought of the Red Sox due to it being AJG that asked the question.
June 21, 201115 yr This one will really surprise some people....Who is the active career leader in SO's for a pitcher? And a follow up....Only 2 active pitchers have over 2,000 K's. Who is the other one?
June 21, 201115 yr Author The Mike & Mike trivia question today was a good one, that I was surprised I got right....In the past 7 seasons, Pujols has started 4 All-Star games. Who were the three guys to beat him out?Ryan Howard and Prince Fielder are the first two to come to mind.

June 21, 201115 yr I knew it had to be someone old, and immediately thought of the Red Sox due to it being AJG that asked the question. I knew he was getting close to the all-time Red Sox team record for wins but I couldn't remember how close so I looked it up the other day. I scrolled down to the bottom of the page at his career ranks and was very suprised to see he was the active leader.

Who is the other one?The active leader is Javier Vazquez (was said on a Marlins game I watched the other day). I'm going to guess Livan Herndandez as the other guy over 2,000.

I scrolled down to the bottom of the page at his career ranks and was very suprised to see he was the active leader. I find it crazy that he's going to get his 200th win here in the next month or so....Unbelievable in this day and age for what amounts to a BP pitcher having that much success IMO.
June 21, 201115 yr The active leader is Javier Vazquez (was said on a Marlins game I watched the other day). I'm going to guess Livan Herndandez as the other guy over 2,000. Not sure if Millwood is still active, but if he isn't, Livan is 3rd with just under 1,900.

Who is the other one? Assuming formerkywrestler is right about Vazquez, is it possible the other one is also Wakefield? He has been around long enough I guess. If not Wakefield, how about Roy Oswalt?
