The only suprise will be if Whitley Beats Harlan. Whitley will be able to play with everyone else in the Dist. Just don't see that many wins.

 

CELL. The Colonels will not go into the Harlan game thinking they can't win. If that is the case they might as well forfiet the game and surrender the district to Harlan now. You maybe surprised if we win and many others too, but you play the game for a reason and I and many others would not be surprised. I think we will be a VERY competitive team this year.

Whitley will be fine. They may or may not win the Harlan game, but I can assure Cellking or anybody else, the only game they are concerned with is game one.....then and only then will they be concerned with game two....so on and so forth. That is what will make Whitley a dangerous team this year (and like years past) the coaching staff is only concerned with the game in front of them. They prepared their teams and have them ready to play. Only a dunder head is concerned with game 7 or 8 at this point.

Can't say it is 100% true, but I hear they have a countdown on board in the weightroom until the number of days to play HC labeled days until revenge, so those dunderheads can regain the district crown.

I agree...you have to take one game at a time and you have to believe you can win those games, whether it is Harlan or anyone else. Don't get me wrong you got to respect everyone you play, especially the regional champion Harlan Cats, but respect and feeling inferior are two different things. We respect all our opponents but we fear no one, we will compete, play hard no matter who the opposition is and when the dust settles we'll see who the better team is shake hands and walk off with class no matter if we win or lose. My point is this WC will not back down to ANYONE, while respecting everyone! Wins should not be a surprise they should be expected!

 

Don't know what the Won -loss record will be, but we'll compete.

c'mon commander what team doesn't use some kind of motivational tool like this. I see different school do that all the time it doesn't mean anything. Why did you feel the need to bring it up. Your usually better than that from the posts I have seen from you.

I didn't mean anything bad by it I was just saying that there coaches have bigger fish to fry with winning than beating just one team. They take things just one game at a time.

I hope Whitley County win's every game this year. I have some very good friends on the Coaching Staff, and yes they will be prepared every game to Compete. This District will be very interesting this year. Good Luck to The Whitley Co. Team and Staff.
